Liam O'Brien is one of the most formidable young talents in the world of surfing. After coming so close to qualifying for the World Tour last year, I had the pleasure of discussing the world of surfing and Liam's impressive path so far in the sport. Liam is an intelligent, open minded and nice guy and he really shared a tremendous insight and perspective in his quest to gain his pro card.
It was a genuine pleasure, we discussed how he got started into surfing, his influences in and outside the sport, travels and experiences that come along with surfing, developing a competition mentality and sharing what plans are on the cards for one the most talented young surfers.
This was very enjoyable, as always we hope you enjoy it as well.
